Tim Chang, Managing Director
Tim is a proven venture investor and experienced global executive. He was named on the 2011 Forbes Midas List of Top 100 Dealmakers, was featured by The Deal as one of five emerging VCs to watch and by the Always On Hollywood It List recognizing technology leaders in the digital entertainment industry. Tim invests in the mobile, gaming, digital media and enterprise applications sectors and co-leads Mayfield Fund's investment practice in China.Some of Tim's notable investments in the U.S. include ngmoco (acquired by DeNA), Playdom (acquired by Disney), leaders in mobile and social gaming, and Iridigm Display Corporation (acquired by Qualcomm). His other U.S. investments include Badgeville (gamification as a SaaS platform), Basis (mobile health monitoring), BranchOut (career networking on Facebook), and Lumos Labs (brain wellness games). Some of Tim’s notable investments in China include AdChina (leading ad-network), Lashou (leading deals site), and PCH International (leading supply- chain management company). His other China investments include All Reach Media and Brite Semiconductor. Tim was also involved with investments in Placeware (acquired by Microsoft), NextG Networks (acquired by a private equity syndicate), Borqs, deCarta and Socialvibe. Prior to joining Mayfield Fund, Tim spent five years as a Partner at Norwest Venture Partners. While at Norwest, he invested in the mobile, gaming and digital media sectors and established their investment practice in China and Asia Pacific. Prior to Norwest, Tim worked for Gabriel Venture Partners where he led their wireless and Asia Pacific practice. Tim began his career in venture capital in 1999 during his time at Stanford Business School as part of the founding team of CTR Ventures, a venture accelerator in Tokyo focused on seed and early-stage mobile consumer applications for the Japanese market. Tim’s operational experience includes working in Japan for five-years as a Product Manager for Gateway Inc., where he launched and held P and L responsibility for enterprise products and as a trilingual Engineer for General Motors, where he led project teams in China, Korea and Japan. Currently, Tim serves on the advisory boards of the Verizon 4G Venture Forum, GameStop Corporation, Yoshimoto Kogyo, the Silicon Valley Telecom Council, MIT/ Stanford VLAB, CasualConnect, and GamesBeat/MobileBeat. Tim holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar, and an MS in Electrical Engineering/System Engineering and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Ronald Conway, Investor, SV Angels
Ronald Conway has been an active angel investor for over 15 years. He was the Founder and Managing Partner of the Angel Investors LP funds (1998-2005). He was recently included in The Vanity Fair 100 most influential people in the Information Age. He was awarded Best Angel at the 2009 TechCrunch Crunchies Awards. He was named #6 in Forbes Magazine Midas list of top "deal-makers" in 2009 and is actively involved in numerous philanthropic endeavors. Ron was with National Semiconductor Corporation in marketing positions (1973-1979), Altos Computer Systems as a co-founder, President and CEO (1979-1990) and took Altos public on Nasdaq in 1982 and served as CEO of Personal Training Systems (PTS) (1991-1995). PTS was acquired by SmartForce/SkillSoft (Nasdaq SKIL). Philanthropically, Ron is a member of the UCSF Medical Center Chancellor's Advisory Board in SF, Board Member of The Tiger Woods Foundation, and SF Homeless Connect, and on the Benefit Committee of Ronald McDonald House, College Track, and the Black Eyed Peas Peapod Foundation.

Seth Goldstein, Chairman and Co-Founder, Turntable.fm
Seth creates and invests in really awesome companies. Most recently he and Billy Chasen created turntable.fm, an addictive social music service. In1995, Seth founded Site specific, which pioneered online advertising solutions for companies like Duracell and Travelocity. It was acquired by CKS Group in 1997.In 1999, Seth joined Fred Wilson as Entrepreneur in Residence at Flatiron Partners where he built a practice in pervasive computing, investing in companies Kozmo, Modo and Vindigo. In 2002, Seth created Majestic Research, the first Wall Street research firm to mine primary data for hedge funds to forecast the financial performance of public companies. Majestic Research was acquired in 2010 by Investment Technology Group (NYSE: ITG). In 2005, Seth started Root Markets with renowned Salomon Brothers trader Lew Ranieri and the Chicago Board of Trade to create the first financial exchange for online mortgage leads. Seth started SocialMedia.com in 2007 which makes ads more relevant across the Web with a unique social advertising platform. SocialMedia was acquired in 2011 by LivingSocial. In 2007, Seth created the pre-eminent start-up ghetto Pier 38 in San Francisco, which houses Dogpatch and dozens of other startups. In 2010, Seth co-founded Stickybits, which connects digital media to real-world objects via barcodes. Seth has served on the board of the Internet Advertising Bureau, where he co-chaired its Social Media committee and helped architect the first set of best practices in social advertising. Seth was the original investor in Web 2.0 pioneer del.icio.us which was acquired by Yahoo! in 2005, and was one of the first investors in Etherpad, which was purchased by Google in 2009. Mr. Goldstein holds a BA in Literature from Columbia University's Columbia College. Following school in 1993, he started Riverbed Media, which created interactive projects with contemporary artists Robert Wilson and William Forsythe. Seth lives in Marin, CA with his wife and two sons.

Jack Isquith, SVP, Strategic Development, Slacker
Jack Isquith is a digital music industry veteran who has held senior posts at Warner Brothers Records and AOL Music, and recently joined Slacker Radio as Senior VP of Strategic Development. Jack is a pioneer of the new music business with extensive experience in digital content and monetization.

David M. Israelite
David Israelite is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Music Publishers Association (NMPA). Previously Israelite served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Counselor to the Attorney General of the US, and was appointed as Chairman of the Department's Task Force on Intellectual Property. Israelite was Senator Kit Bond's Administrative Assistant, and later Campaign Manager. Israelite then served as the Director of Political and Government Affairs for the RNC. Israelite practiced law in Missouri, earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri and received a B.A. in Political Science and Communications from William Jewell College.

Jeff Roberto, Director, Consumer Marketing, Shazam Entertainment
Jeff Roberto has over 15 years experience in marketing, product and business strategy. At Shazam, he's responsible for major consumer marketing initiatives, including customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. Prior to Shazam, Jeff held marketing management positions at Friendster, Rivet Games, Roxio Inc., Napster, Priceline.com and Walker Digital, LLC. He holds a BA in Marketing and Communications from the University of Connecticut.

Mitch Rotter
Mitch Rotter is Senior Vice President, Marketing and Product Development, Universal Music Distribution. Mr. Rotter oversees UMG's eCommerce and CRM initiatives as well as the development of new products, services, marketing tools and systems. Prior to UMG, he was SVP of Content Acquisition and Strategy, Thumbplay, and also worked at New Line Cinema, Capital Records and American Recordings.
